The exclusive service started on the ground in Frankfurt, in the newly-built First Class terminal and in the new First Class lounges. In the premium travel segment, Lufthansa is thus also setting new international standards. Concierge services, limousine-transfer direct to the aircraft, an exclusive ambience with gourmet restaurant and personal attention for guests from arrival at the airport right through to take-off are the special features of the service. BA & Virgin: More bonus air miles for frequent travelers
Frequent flyers find mileage offers motivating. This year, Executive Club members flying British Airways can earn triple miles on first and business class flights up to March 24.
The only catch is that the triple mile offer can only be used for four separate flights and on full-fare, return tickets in that class. Over the same period, competitive airline Virgin Atlantic is offering a similar program for its Flying Club members. Triple miles are earned on the first Upper Class flight taken up to the end of March. This is only available for two other separate journeys in this class -- if flown during this period. With both offers, members need to register at the respective web-sites in order to qualify for the offer. The offer seems to be very popular. A third of British Airways's frequent Club World passengers have already registered, confirms the airline company.
