Konrad Bernheimer represents the fourth generation of one the most eminent European art dealer dynasties. His great-grandfather founded the gallery in 1864. Around 1900 the European nobility frequented the premises of Lehmann Bermheimer, "Purveyor to the Bavarian Royal Household”, and American tycoons such as William Randolph Hearst ordered exquisitely delicate fabrics, choice antiques as well as select tapestries and carpets. Today Konrad O. Bernheimer, who has a second office in London, deals exclusively with paintings by Old Masters of the European Schools from 1600 to 1850 He.also specialises in high-quality Chinese porcelain. Many of the foremost European and American museums as well as private collectors from all over the world number among Bernheimer’s clients.

I have met Konrad Bernheimer several years ago, portraying him and his work for my TV-Show 'Nathalie's Lifestyle Magazine'. I visited the gallery of this extraordinary man as well as his private residence Marquartstein Castle in Chiemgau. Anybody who comes here for the first time will initially wonder if they are dreaming, because each room is like a treasure trove, full of the most magnificent antiques.
